The Morocco Conservancy District was established by the Town of Morocco to assist the Town Board and staff in the creation and implementation of plans and policies related to environmental protection and management, open space, natural areas, and agriculture. This advisory body also provides environmental review of project applications and town actions when referred by the Town Board or staff. Current board members are; Bill Smart, King Clark, Bill Gonczy, Duke Gagnon, and Scott Hively. The Clerk-Treasurer is Sherri Rainford, Town Manager Randy Decker, and the Conservancy Attorney is Dan Blaney. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm at the Morocco Town Hall 112 East State Street.
