MINUTES OF THE MOROCCO CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

March 6, 2018

Attendance-  Bob Gonczy, Sherri Rainford, Duke Gagnon,  Rick McCann, King Clark, Bill Smart, Casey Ehlinger, Rick McCann, and  Attorney Dan Blaney.

Approval of the Minutes: Bill made a motion to approve the minutes from the 2-6-18 Board Meeting.  Duke seconded. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report: The balance in the checking account as of 02/28/18 is $63,515.72.

Claims:  Duke made a motion to pay the claims. Bill seconded. Motion passed

USA Bluebook- $1355.20

Kankakee Valley Pub -$329.62

Yoder Drainage- $40.10

Dan Blaney-$2000

Total: $ 3724.92

 

 

New Business:

Paula Rogers and Jean Ballantine live at 510 S. Main St. They are having drainage issues with the recent rain. The Board is aware of their problem and we will be addressing it. We are going to dig an inspection hole from Clay to Lincoln St. and run a camera in both directions. Then we will make a determination on what needs to be done. King will take the lead.

Bob made a motion to clean the detention pond on Athlone lane. Rick seconded. Motion passed.

Bob made a motion to clean a ditch on 350 S. Bill seconded. Motion passed.

Randy Allis called Bill about his flooding issues. He reminded Bill that we were going to put in a backflow device and we have not yet. Bill would like to reroute his tile. Bob made a motion to reroute the tile and Bill seconded. Motion passed.

 

2018 Elections:

President: King Clark

Vice President: Duke Gagnon

Secretary: Bob Gonczy

Bob made a motion we leave elections as they were for 2017. Rick seconded. Motion passed.
